Blue-EX Limited Reports Mixed Financial Performance Amid E-commerce Market Growth

Karachi: Blue-EX Limited has released its financial results for the fiscal year 2025, revealing a nuanced performance across its unconsolidated and consolidated statements. The company’s financial disclosures come at a time when Pakistan’s e-commerce market is projected to reach $4.74 billion in revenue by the end of 2025.

On November 24, 2025, Blue-EX Limited announced its unconsolidated sales figures, which showed a decrease from 1,166.03 million in FY24 to 1,142.89 million in FY25, marking a big move of -1.98%. Despite this decline in sales, the company reported a gross profit increase of 17.32%, from 280.46 million to 329.06 million. The selling, general, and administrative expenses rose by 5.69%, with other income experiencing a significant move up by 66.12%.

The Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) reflected a moderate move of 15.68%, reaching 187.01 million from the previous 161.66 million. The Earnings Before Interest and Taxes (EBIT) also saw a similar moderate rise of 15.99%, climbing to 128.46 million. Net income experienced a big move increase of 18.6%, amounting to 89.89 million compared to 75.74 million in the prior year.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Blue-EX Limited’s consolidated statement for FY25 revealed a slight decline in sales by -0.77%, totaling 1,342.72 million from 1,353.18 million in FY24. However, the gross profit marked a big move increase of 16.82%, with figures rising to 546.29 million. The company’s EBITDA showed a significant move upward by 19.66%, reaching 251.74 million. The net income for the consolidated statement increased by 15.69%, reaching 99.93 million.

The unconsolidated statement of financial position showed a total asset increase of 8%, reaching 1,348.91 million. Notably, trade debts rose by 30%, while cash and bank balances fell drastically by 60%. The total liabilities also increased by 5%, amounting to 279.69 million.

In the consolidated financial position, total assets rose by 3% to 2,058.43 million, with a notable decline in trade debts by 89%. Cash and bank balances also decreased by 47%. The total liabilities decreased by 4%, totaling 813.99 million.

The data emerges as the e-commerce market in Pakistan shows promising growth, with expectations to reach a market volume of $6.49 billion by 2030. The number of users in the e-commerce market is projected to rise to 29 million by 2030, with user penetration expected to slightly decrease from 20.7% in 2025 to 19.6% by 2030. The average revenue per user is expected to be $264.74.
