Burj Clean Energy Modaraba Executive Director Increases Shareholding

Karachi: In a recent disclosure under Pakistan Stock Exchange Regulation 5.6.4, Burj Clean Energy Modaraba, categorized under GEM, has reported several transactions involving its shares by a key company executive. The transactions, executed by Executive Director Nabeel Anjum Malik, were made public in a disclosure of interest filed with the exchange.

According to the details, Nabeel Anjum Malik engaged in multiple purchases of company shares over a two-day period in May 2025. The initial transaction occurred on May 12, 2025, when Malik acquired 500 shares at a rate of 8.00 per share, followed by a purchase of 1,500 shares at 8.11 per share on the same day.

The following day, on May 13, 2025, Malik continued his acquisition spree with several transactions. He bought 500 shares at the price of 8.98 per share, another 500 shares at 8.99 per share, and 1,258 shares at 9.00 per share. His acquisitions continued with an additional 500 shares purchased at 9.10 per share and culminated with the purchase of 2,210 shares at 9.11 per share.

This series of transactions has resulted in a cumulative holding of 17,768 shares by Malik, bringing his total shareholding in the company to 0.02 percent. The purchases were made in the ready market, with all shares held in the Central Depository Company (CDC) form.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions reflect Malik’s growing interest and stake in the company. The disclosure of these transactions is in compliance with PSX regulations, which mandate transparency and accountability in the trading activities of directors, executives, and substantial shareholders.
