According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Omar Faruque has been re-appointed as the Chairman, and Azam Faruque as the Chief Executive Officer, each for a three-year term starting from October 16, 2024.

The company communicated these leadership changes in an official letter dated October 17, 2024, addressed to the General Manager of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited. The letter confirms Omar Faruque's continued role following the board meeting on October 16, 2024, ensuring his leadership as Chairman in adherence to Section 192 of the Companies Act, 2017. Concurrently, Azam Faruque's re-appointment as CEO under Section 187 of the same act marks a continued era of strategic guidance for Cherat Cement.
