Karachi: Cherat Packaging Limited has disclosed that Mrs. Sakina Pesnani, the spouse of Mr. Akbarali Pesnani, a Non-Executive Director of the company, has executed a series of transactions involving the sale of company shares. The transactions were reported in compliance with Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4, which mandates the disclosure of interest by relevant persons holding company shares.

According to the disclosure, Mrs. Pesnani sold a total of 3,975 shares in the company over two separate transactions. On November 8, 2024, she sold 475 shares at a rate of PKR 110.50 each. Three days later, on November 11, 2024, she sold an additional 3,500 shares at a rate of PKR 120.60 each.

As a result of these transactions, the cumulative number of shares held by Mrs. Pesnani has decreased to 6,760 shares, representing a cumulative percentage of 0.01% of the company's total shares.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions are part of the regulatory requirements for transparency and accountability among company directors and their immediate family members.
