Karachi: Cordoba Logistics and Ventures Limited has announced its financial results for the year ended June 30, 2024, with the firm not declaring any dividends for the year, according to a statement issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange. The company has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for October 28, 2024, which will be held at the PSX Regional Office building in Lahore and will also be accessible online.
The company's latest financial statement reveals significant year-on-year growth in revenue, rising to Rs. 45,934.594 million from Rs. 56,053.306 million. Despite increased revenue, the firm faced higher direct costs and administrative expenses, which impacted its operating profit, recorded at Rs. 18,317.042 million. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company's profit after taxation saw a downturn, settling at Rs. 19,104.818 million compared to the previous year's Rs. 31,227.691 million.
The share transfer books of Cordoba Logistics will remain closed from October 21 to October 28, 2024, to facilitate the procedural requirements ahead of the AGM. The company's annual report will be transmitted to shareholders through PUCARS within the stipulated time, ensuring compliance with regulatory disclosures and transparency for investors.
