Textile Mills Limited has sanctioned an investment of 292.95 million in the solar panel industry, as confirmed during the gathering held at their registered office in Rawalpind. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this strategic shift is aimed at bolstering the company’s presence in the renewable energy sector, reflecting a broader industry trend towards sustainable practices.
The shareholders of D.M. Textile Mills unanimously approved the annual audited financial statements for the year ending on June 30, 2024, alongside the reappointment of Mushtaq and Co., Chartered Accountants, to oversee the next fiscal year’s audits. The meeting, spearheaded by the company's leadership, also introduced proposals for expanding the company’s real estate development efforts. These include not just construction and marketing, but also the sale and leasing of real estate assets, marking a significant diversification in their business operations.
Notably, the meeting resolved to empower the Chief Executive Officer and other key directors with the authority to negotiate and finalize audit fees, amend corporate strategies, and complete necessary legal formalities to support these initiatives.
