According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the textile sector, in which D S Industries operates, continues to face pressure from low demand and high production costs. The company's management attributes these financial challenges to unfavorable fiscal measures, including high labor and energy expenses, which have increased working capital requirements. Additionally, a reduced local cotton crop has added uncertainty to raw material prices, further complicating the business environment.

Despite these difficulties, D S Industries remains optimistic about its future. The management plans to diversify business operations in an effort to navigate these economic challenges. The company acknowledges the support of the Pakistan Stock Exchange management, the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, and its shareholders. The Board also expressed appreciation for the commitment and diligence of the company's employees during this difficult period.

The textile sector's outlook remains uncertain, with fiscal and operational challenges expected to persist. However, D S Industries is hopeful that strategic diversification will enable it to withstand these pressures.
