Karachi: Dadabhoy Cement Industries Limited released its condensed interim financial statement for the quarter ending September 30, 2024. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company reported a reduction in losses for this period compared to the previous year.
The financial results detailed a loss after taxation of 680,000 rupees for the quarter ended September 30, 2024, slightly improving from a loss of 602,000 rupees in the same period last year. Despite an increase in other income, which rose to 5,262,000 rupees from 5,875,000 rupees year-over-year, administrative expenses decreased from 5,273,000 rupees to 4,583,000 rupees, contributing to a lower operating loss.
The results indicate that the company managed to cut its administrative costs, although its overall performance remains in the red with a basic and diluted loss per share steady at 0.01 rupees. No dividends, bonus, or rights certificates were announced, keeping in line with its financial strategy amid ongoing fiscal challenges.
Dadabhoy Cement Industries communicated that the full quarterly report would be submitted to PSX through PCUARS within the stipulated timeframe, ensuring compliance and transparency with market regulations.
