Karachi: Dawood Equities Limited has officially called its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on October 25, 2024. The meeting will focus on key corporate governance and financial review for the year.
The agenda for the AGM includes confirmation of the minutes from the last Annual General Meeting held on October 26, 2023. Shareholders will also review and adopt the annual financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. A pivotal item on the agenda is the reappointment of the company's auditors, M/s. Yousuf Adil, Chartered Accountants, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025. Their remuneration will also be fixed during this meeting, following a recommendation for their reappointment by the Board of Directors.
Additionally, the election of seven directors is scheduled to take place to serve for the next three-year term starting October 26, 2024.
