Karachi: Din Textile Mills Limited has announced the convening of its 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM) set to take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at Ballroom B, Club Road, Movenpick Hotel, Karachi, 75530.
The primary agenda for the AGM includes the confirmation of minutes from the Extraordinary General Meeting held on March 1, 2025. Additionally, the meeting will cover the reception, consideration, and adoption of the audited financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, along with reports from the company's directors and auditors.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Din Textile Mills Limited operates within the textile manufacturing sector. Members of the company have been informed that the share transfer books will remain closed from October 1 to October 24, 2025, both days inclusive.
Shareholders entitled to attend, speak, and vote at the AGM may opt to appoint a proxy. The proxy must be submitted to the company at least 40 hours before the meeting to be effective. Members with shares deposited in the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited are advised to bring their valid Computerized National Identity Cards along with their Participant ID numbers and account numbers for identification purposes at the AGM.
In compliance with Section 119 of the Companies Act, 2017, and Regulation 79 of the Companies (General Provisions and Forms) Regulations, 2019, shareholders holding physical shares are urged to provide mandatory information such as CNIC numbers, addresses, email addresses, contact numbers, and International Bank Account Numbers to the Share Registrar, CDC Share Registrar Services Limited, to avoid non-compliance with the law.
Din Textile Mills Limited has made available a "Standard Request Form" for shareholders wishing to obtain the Annual Audited Financial Accounts. Additionally, members can exercise their voting rights through postal ballots, either by mail or electronic means, subject to compliance with the requirements of the Companies (Postal Ballot) Regulations, 2018.
Shareholders interested in participating in the AGM via video conference should submit their consent to the company's head office at least seven days before the meeting date. A video conference facility will be arranged if members holding a combined 10% or more shareholding from a particular geographic location express interest in this option.
