Director of Arif Habib Limited Executes Share Transactions: Disclosure Filed with PSX

Karachi: Arif Habib Limited, a prominent player in the financial services sector, announced a series of share transactions executed by one of its directors. According to the company's disclosure under clause 5.6.4 of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulations, Mr. Muhammad Irfan Moton, a director at Arif Habib Limited, engaged in several transactions involving the company's shares during July 2025.

On July 8, Mr. Moton sold 421 shares of Arif Habib Limited at a rate of Rs. 77.6159 per share, leaving him with a cumulative holding of 1,079 shares. Subsequently, on July 15, he further reduced his holdings by selling the remaining 1,079 shares at Rs. 81.6988 per share, effectively bringing his holding in the company to zero.

In a subsequent move, Mr. Moton purchased 500 shares on July 24 at Rs. 80.1200 per share. The percentage change in his shareholding from these transactions was classified as a Minor move.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions will be reviewed in an upcoming board meeting, where any potential non-compliance will be addressed as per regulatory requirements. The company has reiterated its commitment to transparency and compliance with the PSX regulations.

The transactions have been confirmed to have a holding period exceeding six months. However, if any transaction falls within a six-month period, Arif Habib Limited has assured that any profits will be submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in accordance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, and duly reported to the PSX.
