Karachi: Emco Industries Limited has officially announced its 69th Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for October 24, 2024. The meeting is set to take place at 11:30 AM at ICC House, 2-Chamba House Lane, Golf Road, GOR-1, Lahore.

The AGM will focus on reviewing the annual audited accounts of the company for the year ended June 30, 2024, alongside the directors' and auditors' reports. A key agenda item will include the reappointment of Mrs. Zareen Q. Hussain as the company’s auditor for the upcoming fiscal year. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), shareholders are also expected to confirm the minutes of the last AGM held in 2023 and authorize the board to transact any other necessary business with the chair’s permission.

The notice emphasizes that the company’s share transfer books will remain closed from October 17, 2024, until the day of the AGM. Emco Industries advises shareholders who cannot attend in person to appoint proxies by October 22, ensuring their participation in the decision-making process.
