Karachi: Engro Corporation Limited has issued a notification regarding the loss of share certificates, as reported on October 2, 2024. The announcement, made through the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), pertains to certificates that were reportedly misplaced earlier this month.

The lost certificates are linked to shareholder Mrs. Bint Fatima Rizvi, residing at House No. 41/1, Street-A, Phase-V, D.H.A., Karachi. The specifics of the missing certificates include two series with distinctive numbers 362135942 and 362135989 for one certificate, and 428117606 and 428117692 for the other. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the first certificate corresponds to 48 shares, whereas the second corresponds to 87 shares. These shares are collectively valued at an undisclosed amount.

Famco Share Registration Services Pvt Ltd., acting as the registrar for Engro Corporation, has circulated this information among market participants. The communication advises stakeholders not to engage in transactions involving these certificates until further notice. A three-day objection period has been set, during which objections to the issuance of duplicate certificates can be submitted. Following this period, barring any objections, duplicate certificates will be issued to Mrs. Rizvi.
