This development concerns shares connected to Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, and Engro Fertilizers Limited.
On August 9, 2024, it was confirmed that the lost certificates for Engro Polymer and Chemicals Limited, belonging to Shamim Zafar, involving 500 shares under certificate number 75030, have been found. The shares, listed under folio number 00074832, include distinctive numbers from 492519373 to 492519872. Zafar's registered address is House No. 22, Street No. 84, Sector G-13/1, Islamabad.
In a similar case, Pakistan Petroleum Limited reported the recovery of lost certificates owned by Mr. Saghir Ahmed Rana. The total of 478 shares were spread across two certificates, numbers 190858 and 200544, with distinctive numbers from 1.618236603 to 1946868719. Rana's residence is listed as House No. 5, Canal Street, near Ismail Dispensary, Beghampura UET Lahore.
Furthermore, Engro Fertilizers Limited also announced the finding of certificates reported lost by Miss. Aazram Naeem. The 500 shares, documented under certificate number 38152 and folio number 00001144, bear distinctive numbers from 1279704501 to 1279705000. Naeem's address is 287 - A, EME Sector D.B.A., Multan Road, Lahore.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the recovery of these certificates allows transactions to resume normally. Market participants have been advised to update their records and continue dealings with these certificates in the normal course of business.
