Karachi: Executives at Mari Energies Limited have disclosed recent share transactions involving company stock, as per a company announcement. These disclosures are in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring transparency in executive trading activities.

On April 9, 2025, Muhammad Bilal, a senior executive at the firm, sold 360 shares at a rate of 688.50 per share. This transaction was conducted through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in the ready market. Meanwhile, on April 7, 2025, another executive, Muhammad Rashid, sold 100 shares at a rate of 646.03 per share, similarly utilizing the CDC platform for the ready market.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions are scheduled for presentation in the forthcoming board meeting, aligning with clause 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations. This clause mandates disclosure of executive transactions to uphold market integrity and investor confidence.

The company further confirmed that the holding period for these transactions exceeds six months. Should any transaction occur within a six-month period, the profit generated must be deposited with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), in accordance with Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with appropriate notification to the PSX.
