Executives of Meezan Bank Execute Multiple Share Transactions

Karachi: Executives of Meezan Bank Limited have conducted a series of transactions involving the sale of shares in the bank, according to a disclosure made under Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Regulation 5.6.4. The transactions, which took place on November 22 and 25, 2024, involve several key executives of the bank.

On November 22, 2024, Mr. Ebahim Yakoob sold a total of 23,332 shares across three transactions at varying rates per share, reducing his cumulative shareholding to zero. Mr. Yakoob executed the sales at prices of PKR 252.00, PKR 255.00, and PKR 258.54 per share.

Mr. Shahzad Abdullah also participated in the transactions on the same date, selling 11,666 shares at a rate of PKR 253.39 per share, resulting in a zero cumulative shareholding. Similarly, Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Ahmed sold 19,999 shares at PKR 250.00 per share.

Further transactions were executed by Mr. Shariq Mubeen, who sold 3,914 shares at PKR 253.56, followed by additional sales of 4,445 shares at PKR 254.00, and 695 shares at PKR 254.07, leaving him with a cumulative shareholding of 695 shares.

On November 25, 2024, Mr. Muhammad Farhan ul. Haq Usmani sold a total of 5,333 shares in three separate transactions. The shares were sold at PKR 272.11, PKR 272.10, and PKR 275.00 per share, bringing his remaining shareholding to 10,000 shares.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions have been executed using the Central Depository Company (CDC) ready market system. The disclosure is in compliance with regulatory requirements meant to ensure transparency in the trading activities of executives associated with publicly listed companies.
