Faisal Abdul Sattar Pakhali Increases Stake in Trust Modaraba Through Significant Share Acquisitions


Karachi: Faisal Abdul Sattar Pakhali has substantially increased his stake in Trust Modaraba through a series of transactions, enhancing his cumulative shareholding to 44.38%. According to a disclosure of interest notification, Mr. Pakhali acquired additional shares in two separate transactions conducted in May 2025.



On May 23, 2025, Mr. Pakhali executed a purchase of 21,03 shares at an average rate of 5.47 per share. This transaction brought his total shareholding in Trust Modaraba to 12.80 million shares, representing 42.96% of the company’s equity.



A subsequent acquisition took place on May 26, 2025, where Mr. Pakhali purchased 423,464 shares at an average rate of 5.83 per share. This purchase increased his cumulative shareholding to 13.22 million shares, equating to 44.38% of the company’s total shares.



According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these transactions were conducted in the Central Depository Company (CDC) market under the ready market classification. The significant increase in Mr. Pakhali’s shareholding underscores his strategic interest in Trust Modaraba, positioning him as a major stakeholder in the company.



The market category for these transactions is designated as ‘Ready Market,’ indicating that the shares were purchased for immediate delivery. The transactions highlight a notable shift in the ownership structure of Trust Modaraba, reflecting Mr. Pakhali’s growing influence within the organization.
