Karachi: Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited has announced a transaction involving its shares, executed by a member of its senior management, according to a formal disclosure dated December 24, 2025. The disclosure, required under PSX Regulation 5.6.1, outlines the involvement of Colonel Salar Malik (Retd), a senior management official, in the transaction.
The transaction, carried out on November 25, 2025, involved the purchase of shares in the company. Specifically, Colonel Malik acquired 70 shares at a rate of 570.0320270 per share in the ready market. The cumulative number of shares held by Colonel Malik following this transaction remains unchanged at 0.00% of the company’s total shares, indicating no change in his overall stake.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), such transactions are reported and presented by the company secretary at the subsequent meeting of the Board of Directors. Furthermore, as per the Securities Act, 2015, any transaction executed within a holding period of fewer than six months necessitates the deposition of equivalent profits with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), with an intimation to the PSX.
The disclosure also notes that no Director, CEO, or Executive is permitted to deal in the shares of the company during a closed period. Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited is required to immediately update the transaction details in its UIN Management System.
