Karachi, Standard Chartered Bank Pakistan Limited informed Pakistan Stock Exchange about the recommendations made by the board of directors in the meeting held at Karachi on February 16, 2023.

The agenda of the meeting was discussion of profit and loss account for Year ended December 31, 2023 which portrayed a profit of Rs. 19,844,375 with earnings per share 5.13 basic and diluted respectively.

Further, 25% payment of cash dividend, bonus shares and right shares was agreed.

Furthermore, the share transfer books of the company will remain closed from March 20, 2023 to March 29, 2023 (both days inclusive).

The Bank is listed on Pakistan Stock Exchange with the total number of shares that are 3,871,585,021. The Earnings per shares of the Company is 3.39 in 2020 which was 4.14 in 2019. The Profit after Taxation is 13,132,982,000 in 2020 which was 16,017,447,000 in 2019.”
