Lahore: First National Bank Modaraba is set to conduct its 21st Annual Review Meeting for certificate holders on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Ground Floor, NBP RHQs Building, 26-McLagon Road, Lahore, with an additional option for virtual participation via video-link. This meeting aims to review the company’s performance for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024.
In addition to the performance review, a special resolution will be discussed to enable and authorize the distribution of annual audited financial statements through QR enabled codes and weblinks. This method aligns with the guidelines set by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under S.R.O No. 389(I)/2023 dated March 21, 2023. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this move is designed to streamline communication and ensure efficient access to financial documents for all stakeholders.
The resolution proposed will allow the company to cease the dispatch of physical financial statements to certificate holders, transitioning entirely to digital distribution. This effort reflects the company’s commitment to adopting environmentally friendly practices and reducing paper use.
To facilitate seamless participation, First National Bank Modaraba has established provisions for certificate holders to attend the meeting virtually. Interested parties are required to register by providing necessary details to the designated email address at least 48 hours before the meeting. This advanced arrangement aims to encourage broader participation and engagement from all certificate holders regardless of their physical location.
The book closure for certificate transfer purposes will be from October 21, 2024, to October 28, 2024. Certificate holders on record by the close of business on October 20, 2024, will be eligible to attend the Annual Review Meeting.
