Lahore: First National Equities Limited has announced its Annual General Meeting (AGM) is set to take place on October 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The meeting is scheduled to be held at the company's registered office located at 179-B, Abubakar Block, New Garden Town, Lahore, Pakistan. This announcement follows the guidelines outlined in the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book.
The meeting's agenda will cover several key items of business. The first item on the agenda is the confirmation of the minutes from the Extraordinary General Meeting that occurred on January 12, 2026.
Next, the adoption of the financial statements for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2026, will be considered. This will include the reports from the Board of Directors and the auditors. The members of the company will deliberate on an ordinary resolution to adopt these audited financial statements. "RESOLVED THAT the audited financial statements of the Company for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, and the reports of the Board of Directors and Auditors thereon laid before this meeting, be and are hereby considered and adopted," the resolution states.
The appointment or re-appointment of the company's auditor is also on the agenda. M/s. Muniff Zia Uddin & Co., Chartered Accountants, is proposed to be re-appointed as the auditor.
