Karachi: The Board of Directors of Paramount Investments Limited, the management company of First Paramount Modaraba, has approved the issuance of Right Certificates to current certificate holders, as announced in a meeting held on June 9, 2026. This decision, dated June 10, 2026, aims to comply with all necessary legal and regulatory frameworks.
The proposed Right Issue involves the offering of 6,894,210 ordinary Modaraba Certificates. Each certificate is priced at PKR 10, aligning with its par value. This collective issuance totals PKR 68.94 million. The Right Issue is structured to provide one Right Certificate for every two ordinary certificates held, equating to approximately 50% of the Modaraba's existing paid-up certificate capital.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Board has mandated the Chief Executive Officer and the Company Secretary to execute all required actions and fulfill all regulatory and procedural obligations related to the Right Issue. The relevant details regarding the closure of the share/certificate transfer book, the trading period for the Letter of Rights, and the subscription period will be communicated following the finalisation of the Offer Letter, in adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and PSX requirements.
