Karachi: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has approved an extension for the First Paramount Modaraba to hold its Annual Review Meeting (ARM). According to a letter from SECP, dated October 9, 2026, the meeting deadline has been extended by 30 days, shifting the date from October 28, 2026, to November 27, 2026.

The extension comes in response to a request made by First Paramount Modaraba on October 5, 2026. The request was considered under Clause 12 of the Consolidated Circular issued on December 5, 2022, allowing for such adjustments.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Modaraba had sought this extension to adequately prepare for the meeting concerning the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The approval was formally communicated through SECP's letter reference SC/M/RS/33/Paramount/351.

The delay in the Annual Review Meeting is expected to provide First Paramount Modaraba with necessary time to compile and review its financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
