Karachi: First Prudential Modaraba has announced the date for its Annual Review meeting, scheduled for October 26, 2024. The meeting will take place at Karachi.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the primary agenda for the meeting is to review the performance of First Prudential Modaraba for the financial year ending on June 30, 2024. This annual review is a key event for the Modaraba’s Certificate Holders, who will evaluate the past year’s performance and address other important matters concerning the company.

In addition to the performance review, there will also be discussions on the recent Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) directive, which allows companies to circulate their annual audited financial statements—comprising the balance sheet, profit and loss account, auditor’s report, and directors’ report—via QR-enabled codes and web links. Certificate Holders will be asked to approve the transmission of these documents through such modern digital formats.

The Certificate Transfer Books of the Modaraba will be closed from Friday, October 11, 2024, to Saturday, October 26, 2024, both days inclusive, as per the company’s notification. Transfers received by the company’s share registrar, C&K Management Associates (Private) Limited, by the close of business on Thursday, October 10, 2024, will be eligible for dividend payments and attendance at the review meeting.
