First Treet Manufacturing Modaraba Completes Significant Reduction in Capital

Lahore: First Treet Manufacturing Modaraba (FTMM) has officially completed a significant reduction in its paid-up Modaraba fund capital. The capital has been reduced from 883,590,287 Modaraba certificates to 195,599,994 Modaraba certificates, following an order by the Lahore High Court. This order, certified on March 20, 2025, led to the cancellation of 687,983,435 certificates, marking a very large or significant move in the company's capital structure.

The reduction, initially announced on June 17, 2025, was further detailed in a communication from the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited on June 24, 2025. This confirmed that the company's paid-up capital now stands at 195,599,994 certificates, with revised physical certificates set to be dispatched to holders soon.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this update was facilitated by the cancellation of certificates in the Central Depository System as of June 23, 2025, aligning with the records provided by FTMM.

Stakeholders and investors have been informed of the changes, and the TREC holders of the exchange have been advised accordingly. The completion of this capital reduction represents a significant development in FTMM's financial management and operational strategy.
