Karachi: Flying Cement Company Limited has formally informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) about the upcoming trial run of its new production line, aiming to significantly augment its clinker production capacity. The company's notification, dated October 04, 2024, highlights a crucial development in its operational capabilities.
According to the letter addressed to the General Manager of the PSX, Flying Cement Company Limited is set to commence the trial operations of its new Line-II, which boasts a production capacity of 9,000 tonnes per day (TPD) of clinker. This strategic expansion is slated to start its commercial operation by the third quarter of the financial year 2024-25.
The initiation of Line-II is a significant step in accordance with the company’s compliance with the Securities Act of 2015 and the rules set forth by the Pakistan Stock Exchange. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the new production line is expected to enhance the company’s productivity and competitive edge in the cement industry, reflecting a pivotal phase in its growth trajectory.
The disclosure form, referred to as Annexure “A” in the document, was also submitted to the PSX, ensuring that all procedural requirements are met and that the stakeholders are well-informed of the developments.
