Karachi: Frontier Ceramics Limited has released its 44th annual report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, revealing substantial growth in net sales and profit following challenges in previous years. The company’s financial performance marked a notable turnaround, underscored by increased sales and improved profit margins, as detailed in the report dated October 9, 2026.
The report indicated that net sales surged to 4.82 billion rupees, up from 4.39 billion rupees the previous year. This reflected a very large or significant move of 9.79% in net sales. Despite a rise in the cost of sales to 4.50 billion rupees from 3.99 billion rupees, the company managed to maintain a gross profit of 323.49 million rupees, albeit a decrease from the previous year’s 400.89 million rupees.
Operating profit declined, recording 214.58 million rupees compared to 309.80 million rupees the previous year, due to increased distribution and administrative expenses. However, the company benefited significantly from other income, which rose sharply to 92.38 million rupees from 5.85 million rupees.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Frontier Ceramics Limited’s profit before taxation stood at 275.50 million rupees, a slight decrease from 286.56 million rupees in the previous fiscal year. Nevertheless, the company achieved a profit after taxation of 165.19 million rupees, a big move from the 50.14 million rupees reported in 2025. This improvement was largely due to a reduction in taxation expenses, which fell to 110.31 million rupees from 236.42 million rupees.
The company’s earnings per share also saw a significant rise, increasing to 4.36 rupees from 1.32 rupees in the previous year, reflecting the improved profitability.
In terms of assets, Frontier Ceramics Limited reported total assets of 4.89 billion rupees, an increase from 4.29 billion rupees in 2025. The current assets grew significantly to 2.05 billion rupees from 1.30 billion rupees, primarily driven by a substantial increase in the amount due from related parties, which climbed to 1.11 billion rupees from 236.47 million rupees.
Despite an increase in total liabilities to 2.90 billion rupees from 2.46 billion rupees, the company maintained a stable equity position with total equity and reserves amounting to 1.99 billion rupees, a rise from 1.83 billion rupees the previous year.
The designated market category for Frontier Ceramics Limited, as reported, remains stable, reflecting the company's ongoing efforts to enhance its market position and financial stability amidst fluctuating economic conditions.
