Gammon Pakistan Limited Faces Technical Hurdle in AGM Scheduling

Rawalpindi: An administrative hurdle has emerged for Gammon Pakistan Limited as the company encounters a technical error while attempting to file an intimation of the date and time for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) portal. The issue has arisen from an error message stating “not a valid year end 2025-11-27,” which has prevented the successful submission of the AGM details.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Gammon Pakistan Limited had previously secured formal approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for a 30-day extension to hold its AGM. This approval was granted via SECP letter No. SMD/PRDD/Com/(153)/2025/54, dated September 26, 2025, and was subsequently published on the PSX portal by Gammon on September 29, 2025. The company suggests that the error may be connected to this extension approval.

In an effort to mitigate the situation, Gammon Pakistan Limited has requested guidance on resolving the matter. The company has also indicated that this communication should serve as the official intimation of the AGM, scheduled for November 27, 2025, at 11:00 am in Rawalpindi. The company seeks further communication to all relevant parties regarding this development.
