Ghani Value Glass Limited Sets Date for 59th Annual General Meeting


Lahore: Ghani Value Glass Limited has announced its 59th Annual General Meeting to be held on October 28, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Park Lane Hotel, Lahore. The meeting will address various agenda items including the approval of interim cash dividends and the appointment of auditors.



The agenda for this year’s meeting includes confirming the minutes of the previous annual meeting held on October 28, 2024, and discussing the company’s audited annual accounts for the year ending June 30, 2025. Shareholders will also consider the Directors’ and Auditors’ reports, and approve the First and Second Interim Cash Dividends of 10%, equivalent to Rs. 1 per share each, already disbursed for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.



In addition to these agenda items, the meeting will also cover the appointment of auditors for the upcoming fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, and the establishment of their remuneration. Any other business will be conducted with the Chair’s permission.



According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Ghani Value Glass Limited has ensured compliance with regulatory guidelines for conducting the meeting. The company will provide a video conference facility for shareholders, in line with the Companies Act, 2017. Shareholders wishing to participate via video link must register by submitting their details to the designated email address at least 48 hours before the meeting.



The company also reminds shareholders of the mandatory electronic mode of cash dividend payments, as required by Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017. Shareholders holding physical shares are advised to provide their bank account details for direct deposit of dividends.



Furthermore, shareholders seeking tax exemptions or reduced rates on dividend income are urged to submit the necessary documentation. Both ‘Filer’ and ‘Non-Filer’ classifications have different tax implications, with ‘Filers’ paying a 15% tax and ‘Non-Filers’ a 30% tax on dividend income, as per the Finance Act 2014.
