GoP Ijarah Sukuk Reaches Maturity, Delisting Follows

Karachi: The Government of Pakistan’s Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) with the maturity date of August 20, 2026, has reached its full term, leading to its subsequent delisting from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). According to a report issued on August 20, 2026, and as per PSX Notice# PSX/N-980 dated August 07, 2026, the trading suspension for the security, identified as P01GIS200826, was initiated in preparation for the maturity payment.

All market participants were informed that the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) completed the final payment to all eligible investors on the maturity date itself. As a result, the security is no longer active in the market and will be officially delisted starting August 21, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this delisting is in line with the secondary market joint procedures established by the PSX, the Central Depository Company (CDC), and the NCCPL. The delisting marks the conclusion of the trading life of this particular Sukuk in the designated market category.
