Karachi: The Government of Pakistan's Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) with the maturity date of September 29, 2026, has reached its maturity, prompting a formal delisting from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). According to the report dated September 29, 2026, the final payment has been executed to all eligible investors, marking the conclusion of this financial instrument.
In accordance with PSX Notice# PSX/N-1127 issued on September 14, 2026, the trading of this security, designated as P01GIS290926, was suspended in anticipation of its maturity. The payment process was carried out by the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) on the maturity date, ensuring all financial obligations to investors were fulfilled.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the delisting of the GIS will be effective from September 30, 2026. This action is in line with the secondary market joint procedures established by the PSX, Central Depository Company (CDC), and NCCPL.
Market participants and other concerned entities have been duly notified of this development, as the GIS security is now considered to be no longer outstanding.
