Grandcres Investment Limited Reduces Stake in Lucky Cement

Karachi: Grandcres Investment Limited, an associated company of Lucky Cement Limited, has executed significant transactions involving the sale of shares in the cement company. The transactions, dated January 14 and January 16, 2026, were disclosed in a statement from Lucky Cement Limited.

On January 14, Grandcres Investment Limited sold 21,325 shares at an average rate of 500.35 per share, reducing its holdings through the Central Depository Company (CDC) in the ready market. This transaction brought the cumulative number of shares held by Grandcres to 48.77 million, representing a 3.329% stake.

Further, on January 16, the associated company sold an additional 22,500 shares at an average rate of 500.00 per share, also through the CDC in the regular market. This further reduced the cumulative shareholding to 48.75 million shares, equivalent to a 3.328% stake in Lucky Cement.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the transactions reflect a minor move in the percentage of shares held by Grandcres Investment Limited in the company. The disclosure also mentions that these transactions will be presented in the subsequent board meeting, indicating transparency and adherence to corporate governance practices.
