Karachi: Gulistan Textile Mills Ltd. has scheduled a board meeting for October 29, 2024, to review the financial statements for the first quarter ended on September 30, 2024. The meeting will be held at Lahore.

The board of directors will convene to discuss the financial outcomes of the previous quarter, focusing on the operational and financial metrics crucial for assessing the company’s performance. Such meetings are essential for strategic planning and compliance with corporate governance standards.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), in conjunction with this meeting, Gulistan Textile Mills has declared a “Closed Period” from October 22 to October 29, 2024. During this period, all directors, CEOs, and executives are prohibited from trading company shares. This measure, mandated under Clause (xxiii) of the Code of Corporate Governance as stated in the Listing Regulation No. 35 of PSX, is intended to prevent insider trading and ensure transparency during the financial disclosure period.
