Karachi: Habib Bank Limited has announced the closure of its transfer books for the upcoming twenty-first profit payment of its ADT-1 Term Finance Certificate 2019, known as "HBLTFC2." According to a newspaper advertisement scheduled to be published in Business Recorder and Daily Jang on December 6, 2024, the book closure is set to take place from December 20, 2024, to December 26, 2024, inclusive.

TFC holders whose names appear in the register by the close of business on December 19, 2024, will be eligible for the profit payment. The profit payment is scheduled for December 26, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the payment process will adhere to Sub-Clause (1) of Clause 5C.8. of Chapter 5C of the PSX regulations, which mandates the direct credit of profits into the respective IBANs of TFC holders. Habib Bank Limited has urged all TFC holders to ensure their valid IBAN details are updated in their respective CDS accounts. Additionally, holders are advised to promptly notify the Bank's Registrar in Karachi of any changes in address or tax information, such as filer, exempted, or non-filer status.

The bank's announcement is part of its ongoing efforts to ensure timely and accurate profit payments to its investors.
