Karachi, Habib Bank Limited (HBL), one of Pakistan's leading banks, has released a statement regarding the payment of profit on its debt securities as of June 30, 2023. The bank has provided detailed information regarding the redemption dates, number of securities, total investment, and profit amounts for its TFC (Term Finance Certificate) holders.

For the 15th Profit Redemption, which took place on June 26, 2023, HBL distributed a total profit amount of PKR 710,803,270.46 to its 98 TFC holders. After deducting the income tax of PKR 54,064,187.00, the net amount paid to the holders was PKR 656,739,083.46. The outstanding balance of the principal investment post-redemption remained unchanged at PKR 12,374,000,000.

Similarly, for the 14th Profit Redemption, which occurred on March 27, 2023, HBL disbursed a total profit amount of PKR 569,339,619.04 to 101 TFC holders. After deducting the income tax of PKR 43,594,228.00, the net amount paid was PKR 525,745,391.04. The outstanding balance of the principal investment post-redemption remained at PKR 12,374,000,000.

The debt securities, with the security symbol "HBLTFC2," were issued on September 26, 2019, and listed on November 25, 2019, with a quarterly profit payment frequency.
