Habib Bank Limited Declares Second Interim Cash Dividend at 60%

Karachi: Habib Bank Limited (HBL) has announced the payment of its Second Interim Cash Dividend for the fiscal year 2026. The Board of Directors declared a dividend of Rs. 6.0 per share, constituting 60% for the quarter ending June 30, 2026. This announcement was made following the board meeting on August 4, 2026.

The entitled shareholders, whose details were verified, received the interim cash dividend on August 20, 2026. These payments were credited directly to the bank accounts of shareholders who had provided valid International Bank Account Numbers (IBAN) by the close of business on August 13, 2026.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the dividends were credited as part of the bank's compliance with Section 243(3) of the Companies Act, 2017. For transparency, details of the credited dividends have been uploaded to the Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR), allowing shareholders access for record-keeping or tax purposes. Shareholders can register for the eDividend service through the official portal.

However, shareholders who failed to provide their valid IBAN details have had their dividend payments withheld. These shareholders are urged to submit their IBAN details, along with necessary identification and contact information, to the bank's Share Registrar or the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited to ensure compliance with the applicable laws and facilitate the release of their dividends.

In an effort to inform stakeholders, the bank has also arranged for a newspaper advertisement detailing this dividend payment to be published in prominent publications such as Business Recorder and the Daily Jang on August 24, 2026.
