Habib Metropolitan Bank Boosts Capital of Subsidiaries to Ensure Smooth Operations

Karachi: Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited has announced a significant enhancement in the authorized and paid-up capital of its wholly owned subsidiaries. According to information disclosed by the bank, the decision was made during a Board of Directors meeting held on February 12, 2026.

The bank approved an increase in the capital of HabibMetro Exchange Services Limited from Rs. 1 billion to Rs. 1.50 billion. Similarly, the capital of Habib Metropolitan Financial Services Limited will be raised from Rs. 300 million to Rs. 500 million. These enhancements are aimed at ensuring smooth operations within these subsidiaries.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), these changes are subject to necessary regulatory approvals. This disclosure is in compliance with Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and follows the rule book of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited.
