Karachi: Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited has announced the successful crediting of its Third Interim Cash Dividend for the year ending December 31, 2024, to its shareholders. The dividend, set at Rs. 2.50 per share, representing a 25% payout, was approved by the bank's Board of Directors during their meeting on October 24, 2024.

The bank has utilized electronic channels to transfer the dividend directly to the bank accounts of shareholders who have provided their Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) numbers alongside a valid International Bank Account Number (IBAN). This process is in compliance with the requirements outlined in Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, and the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), dividends have been withheld for shareholders who have failed to provide complete or correct bank account details, including an updated IBAN and valid CNIC. To resolve this, shareholders are encouraged to contact the bank's Share Registrar or the Participant/Investor Account Services of the Central Depository Company of Pakistan to update their information.

Additionally, shareholders can utilize the Centralized Cash Dividend Register (CCDR) via the website https://csp.cdcaccess.com.pk/ to access detailed records of their dividends.
