Karachi: Habib Rice Products Ltd. has successfully credited the final cash dividend for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023, to shareholders who have provided valid International Bank Account Numbers (IBAN). The payment of Rs. 1.50 per share, which amounts to a 30% dividend, was processed on November 2, 2023, following the approval in the company’s Annual General Meeting on October 26, 2023.

The company has made announcements via newspaper advertisements published on November 3, 2023, in the Business Recorder (English), confirming the successful e-payment of the dividend. In line with the regulatory requirements of Section 242 of the Companies Act, 2017, and the Companies (Distribution of Dividends) Regulations, 2017, the company withheld dividends for shareholders who did not provide complete or accurate bank details or failed to submit their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), valid email address, and contact number.

Shareholders who have complied with the submission of complete and correct information have now received their respective dividends directly into their bank accounts, reflecting the company’s adherence to transparent and efficient payment processes.
