ICC Industries Limited Announces Extraordinary General Meeting to Elect New Directors

Lahore: ICC Industries Limited has officially announced its upcoming Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) scheduled for March 31, 2026. The meeting will take place at the company’s registered office on Anand Road, Upper Mall, Lahore, commencing at 10:30 a.m. The agenda will focus on confirming the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting and electing seven directors for a three-year term.

The company has outlined that the retiring directors eligible for re-election include Mr. Javaid S. Siddiqi, Mr. Pervaiz S. Siddiqi, Mrs. Fauzia Javaid, Mr. Salman Javaid Siddiqi, Mr. Asim Pervaiz Siddiqi, Mr. Shahid Ali Ahmad, and Mr. Naveed Hashim Rizvis. The process will adhere to the Companies Act, 2017, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

Members of ICC Industries Limited are advised that the register will be closed from March 25 to March 31, 2026. Transfers received by the close of business on March 24, 2026, at the Share Registrar Office will be processed. The company has appointed Reanda Haroon Zakaria Aamir Salman Rizwan & Co. as the scrutinizer for the election process.

Shareholders will have the opportunity to vote through postal ballot and e-voting, in accordance with the Companies (Postal Ballot) Regulations, 2018. As per the regulations, any individual aspiring to contest the director election must submit relevant documents at least 14 days prior to the meeting.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the election of directors will be conducted transparently, ensuring adherence to the set guidelines. Shareholders are reminded of their right to appoint a proxy to attend and vote on their behalf at the meeting.

Participants in the meeting, including CDC account holders, are required to present identification documents for verification. The company has also made provisions for electronic participation through Zoom, provided members register by March 28, 2026.

The company has clarified that no gifts will be distributed at the meeting, and any changes in address should be communicated to the Share Registrar promptly. The EGM will be an opportunity for shareholders to influence the future direction of ICC Industries Limited by electing directors who will guide the company over the next three years.
