Karachi: Image REIT has reported a significant increase in its financial performance for the year ended June 30, 2026, according to its annual report released on October 6, 2026. The company, which was listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange on October 6, 2025, following a successful IPO in September 2025, has demonstrated resilience in a challenging economic environment.
Image REIT, a hybrid real estate investment trust, manages commercial properties located on Shahrah-e-Faisal and Tipu Sultan Road in Karachi, boasting a 100% occupancy rate. The company reported a remarkable increase in revenue from 85,933,776 in 2025 to 114,150,360 in 2026. Administrative expenses decreased to 15,710,702 from 22,946,438, contributing to a net operating profit of 98,439,658, up from 62,987,338 in the previous year.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Image REIT's profit before tax surged to 991.54 million from 357.93 million, marking a very large or significant move. This was bolstered by an unrealized gain on remeasurement of the fair value of investment property, which increased to 888.99 million from 296.30 million. The company's earnings per unit rose to 3.94 from 1.95, reflecting robust financial health.
The board declared a final cash dividend of Rs. 0.085 per unit, in addition to previous dividends, culminating in a total dividend of Rs. 0.415 per unit or 4.15% for the year ended June 30, 2026. An interim cash dividend of Rs. 0.145 per unit, equivalent to 1.45%, has been declared for the year ending June 30, 2027.
Despite global economic uncertainties and the Iran-USA conflict leading to high crude oil prices, certain sectors in Pakistan, including technology and agriculture, showed growth potential. The retail industry also maintained positive momentum driven by a growing middle class, urbanization, and a shift towards e-commerce.
