Indus Dyeing & Manufacturing Appoints New Board of Directors in Karachi Meeting

Karachi: Indus Dyeing & Manufacturing Company Limited convened an extraordinary general meeting on June 15, 2026, culminating in the confirmation of previous meeting minutes and the unopposed election of a new board of directors. The meeting took place at 4:00 p.m. in Karachi, with provisions for participation via video link.

The shareholders of the company ratified the minutes from the last annual general meeting, held on October 28, 2025. This step was part of the standard procedures and was completed without contest.

In a significant development, nine directors were elected unopposed to serve a three-year term beginning June 16, 2026, and ending June 15, 2029. The directors include Mr. Naveed Ahmed, Mian Shahzad Ahmed, Mian Imran Ahmed, Mr. Kashif Riaz, Mr. Irfan Ahmed, Mrs. Fadia Kashif, Mr. Faisal Hanif, Mr. Aamir Amin, and Ms. Azra Yaqub Vawda. Notably, three of these directors—Mr. Faisal Hanif, Mr. Aamir Amin, and Ms. Azra Yaqub Vawda—will fulfill roles as independent directors, with Ms. Vawda being recognized for her contribution as a female independent director.

The resolutions passed are in accordance with Clause 5.6.9(b) of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) regulations. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the meeting adhered to all stipulated procedural requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
