Interloop Limited Issues Final Notice for Unclaimed Dividends to Vest with Federal Government

Lahore: Interloop Limited has issued a final notice concerning unclaimed and unpaid dividends, in accordance with the Companies Act of 2017. The notice, which pertains to dividend distributions labeled D-6 and D-7, is set to be published nationwide in the Business Recorder and Nawa-e-Waqat on June 27, 2025. This action comes after a three-year period during which these dividends have remained unclaimed by shareholders.

On March 18, 2025, the company dispatched registered notices to the last known addresses of stakeholders, urging them to submit their claims within a three-month window. However, responses have been limited, with only a few shareholders coming forward. As per company policy, stakeholders are now being given an additional 90 days from the issuance of the final notice to lodge their claims.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), if shareholders do not submit claims within the designated period, Interloop Limited will deposit the unclaimed funds with the Federal Government. This measure is in compliance with the provisions outlined in sub-section (2) of section 244 of the Companies Act, 2017.

Interloop Limited's notice underscores the company's adherence to statutory requirements and highlights the importance of shareholders acting promptly to secure their dividends. The company's proactive approach aims to ensure compliance while providing shareholders with a final opportunity to claim their due amounts before the funds are transferred to the government.
