Interloop Limited Issues Final Notice for Unclaimed Dividends

Karachi: Interloop Limited has announced the publication of a final notice regarding unclaimed and unpaid dividends (D-4 & D-5), which are set to vest with the Federal Government after an additional 90-day period. This notice is issued in accordance with subsection (2) of section 244 of the Companies Act, 2017. The notice will be published in the national dailies Business Recorder (English) and Nawa-e-Waqat (Urdu) on July 5, 2024.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this final notice follows an earlier communication sent by registered post to shareholders on March 26, 2024. The initial notice informed shareholders that dividends declared by Interloop Limited had remained unclaimed for three years from their due date. Despite the outreach, only a few responses have been received.

Shareholders of Interloop Limited are now given one last opportunity to claim their dividends. They must submit their claims within the next 90 days. If no claims are received within this timeframe, the company is mandated by law to deposit the unclaimed amounts with the Federal Government.

This procedure underscores the importance of shareholders maintaining up-to-date contact information with their investment companies to avoid missing out on rightful dividends. Interloop Limited has urged all shareholders to review the details on the company's website and submit any pending claims promptly to ensure they receive their due entitlements.
