International Industries Limited Reports Significant Financial Growth Amid Dividend Announcement

Karachi: International Industries Limited (IIL) has announced its audited annual financial results for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, showcasing marked growth in both revenue and profit. The Board of Directors reviewed the figures during a meeting held on August 20, 2026, and has recommended a final cash dividend of Rs.5.00 per share, translating to a total dividend of Rs.7.00 per share for the year. This includes an interim dividend of Rs.2.00 per share already distributed, representing a cumulative 70% dividend for the fiscal year.

According to the latest financial statement, IIL reported a revenue of Rs.29.07 billion, up from Rs.25.10 billion in the previous year, indicating a substantial increase in sales. The company’s gross profit rose to Rs.4.03 billion, compared to Rs.3.15 billion in the fiscal year 2025. The company’s profit before income tax surged to Rs.2.41 billion from Rs.1.57 billion, while the net profit for the year reached Rs.1.60 billion, reflecting a robust financial performance.

The increase in profit is accompanied by a higher earnings per share, which climbed to Rs.12.16 from Rs.8.37. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this represents a big move for the company in the designated market category.

The board has also announced that the 78th Annual General Meeting of IIL will be held on October 7, 2026, at the Beach Luxury Hotel in Karachi, with provisions for video conferencing to encourage broader participation. The company has scheduled the closure of its share transfer books from September 29 to October 7, 2026, to determine shareholders’ eligibility for the final dividend.

In terms of financial position, IIL’s total assets as of June 30, 2026, stood at Rs.29.91 billion. The company’s shareholders’ equity increased to Rs.20.60 billion, up from Rs.19.66 billion in the previous year. Current liabilities saw a decline to Rs.8.71 billion from Rs.9.47 billion, reflecting improved financial management.
