Ittehad Chemicals Raises PKR 1.50 Billion Through Sukuk Issuance

Lahore: Ittehad Chemicals Limited has announced the successful issuance of rated, unsecured, privately placed short-term sukuk certificates totaling PKR 1.50 billion. According to an announcement made on July 21, 2026, the issuance, known as "Sukuk-l," has been directed towards qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) and is intended to meet the working capital requirements of the company.

The sukuk, issued with a tenure of up to six months from the date of drawdown, was finalized by July 20, 2026. This move reflects Ittehad Chemicals' strategic financial planning and engagement with institutional investors.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the issuance of such financial instruments aligns with the company’s ongoing efforts to manage its capital efficiently in the designated market category. The completion of this transaction marks a significant financial maneuver for Ittehad Chemicals, positioning it to better address its operational needs.
