Karachi: J.K. Spinning Mills Limited has announced a significant investment aimed at modernizing its Fabric Processing Unit, according to a disclosure report dated September 8, 2026. This development is part of the company's strategic initiative to enhance its manufacturing capabilities and product competitiveness in the textile industry.
The investment, amounting to approximately Rs. 1.79 billion, will be directed towards installing advanced equipment, including a Goller Complexa two-stage Bleaching Range and an 8-Chamber POSLU Stenter, among others. This endeavor is expected to bolster the operational efficiency of the company's processing department and elevate the quality of its textile products.
In addition to the Fabric Processing Unit enhancement, the company has allocated Rs. 515.50 million for its ongoing Balancing, Modernization, and Replacement (BMR) policy in the Spinning Division. This investment will facilitate the replacement of several high-speed machines, such as 16 LMW Ring Frame LRJ/SX machines and 2 complete high-speed Toyota Simplex frames. The upgrades aim to optimize the spinning process and improve yarn quality.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), J.K. Spinning Mills Limited's modernization efforts are part of a broader strategy to stay competitive in the market. The company has secured financing under the Long Term Finance Facility (LTFF) scheme, with documentation and formalities currently underway.
