Karachi: The First National Bank Modaraba has appointed Mr. Javaid Bashir Sheikh as the Chairman of its Board of Directors. This decision follows the recent elections of the Directors of the National Bank Modaraba Management Company Limited, which is the management company for the First National Bank Modaraba.

The election of directors took place on May 25, 2026, and their subsequent appointments received approval from the Registrar Modaraba, Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan, on June 29, 2026. Mr. Sheikh's term as Chairman commenced on July 6, 2026, and is set to continue for a three-year period, concluding on May 25, 2029.
