JS Bank Limited Announces Book Closure for August 30 Profit Payment

Karachi: JS Bank Limited has announced the closure of its transfer books for the upcoming 12th profit payment on its Term Finance Certificates (TFC), bearing the symbol JSBLTFC4. The bank's announcement on August 13, 2026, specifies that the profit payment, which is due on August 30, 2026, will necessitate the closure of the transfer books from August 21, 2026, to August 30, 2026, inclusive of both days.

The TFCs, issued in the nature of Tier 2 Capital by JS Bank Limited, represent a financial commitment amounting to PKR 3.50 billion. These certificates were initially issued on August 30, 2023, and involve a structured schedule of profit payments to the holders.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the closure of transfer books is a routine process aimed at determining the entitlements of TFC holders. This allows the bank to effectively manage and distribute the forthcoming profit payment.

In its notice, JS Bank Limited has urged TFC holders to promptly notify the Bank's Registrar, M/s. CDC Share Registrar Services Limited, of any changes in their address or income tax exemption status. This request is crucial to ensure that all modifications are accounted for in time for the processing of the profit payment.

The information regarding the book closure and profit payment has been shared in "The News" and "Daily Jang" newspapers across Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad editions, as per JS Bank’s report. The designated market category for these financial instruments remains integral to their management and distribution.
