JS Bank Limited Schedules Board Meeting Amid Closed Trading Period

Karachi: JS Bank Limited has announced that its Board of Directors will convene on August 25, 2026, to deliberate over the company’s unaudited financial statements for the first half of the year ending June 30, 2026. The meeting is scheduled to take place at 2:00 PM at the Bank’s headquarters located at 20th Floor, The Centre, Abdullah Haroon Road, Saddar, Karachi.

The bank has instituted a “Closed Period” from August 18 to August 25, 2026, as stipulated by Clause 5.6.4 of the Rule Book of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). During this period, trading of shares by directors, the CEO, or any executive personnel of the bank will be strictly prohibited. This measure is in place to ensure compliance with the regulations set forth by the exchange.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the closed period is a mandatory practice to uphold transparency and integrity in the financial markets. It prevents insiders from trading on non-public information prior to the announcement of the financial results.

The upcoming meeting will focus on reviewing the financial performance for the half-year period, a standard process for the bank as it aligns with its periodic financial reporting obligations. The outcome of the meeting, including any decisions or approvals made by the board, is anticipated to be disclosed to the market following the conclusion of the session.
